Joingenzero LTD (“GenZero”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is the controller of personal information described in this policy. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights under UK data protection law.

Information we collect

• Identity and contact details, including your name, email, telephone number, billing address and delivery address.
• Order and transaction details, including products purchased, order value, delivery status, returns and communications.
• Account information and preferences where you create an account.
• Technical and usage information, including IP address, device, browser, cookie identifiers and how you use our website.
• Marketing preferences and responses to promotions.
• Information you provide when contacting us, completing a quiz, leaving a review or otherwise interacting with the store.

Payment card details are handled by Shopify and the relevant payment provider. We do not normally receive your full card number.

How we use information and our lawful bases

• Contract: to process payment, fulfil and deliver orders, provide customer service and manage returns.
• Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records, respond to lawful requests and meet consumer-protection obligations.
• Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud, secure and improve the store, understand performance, administer our business and respond to enquiries, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent: where required for marketing, non-essential cookies or another optional activity. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies and analytics

Who we share information with

We share information only where needed with Shopify, payment providers, delivery carriers, fulfilment and customer-support providers, analytics and marketing providers you have consented to where required, professional advisers, and public authorities where required by law. These recipients act under their own privacy terms or our instructions, as applicable.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we use an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard.

Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including to fulfil orders, resolve disputes and meet legal, tax and accounting duties. Retention periods vary by record type. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.

Your rights

You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, although we would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

Children

The store and its products are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
